By browsing xyoro.net, requesting a demo or using any part of the Xyoro platform you accept these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the service.
Xyoro is a cloud school platform covering admissions, academics, attendance, examinations, fees, HR and payroll, transport, library, communication, analytics and the Ask Myna assistant. Features differ between plans and between deployments, and we may add, change or retire features over time. Nothing on our website is a guarantee that a particular feature will exist in your plan.
Demo access at demo.xyoro.net is provided for evaluation only. Demo environments hold sample data, are shared, may be reset without notice and must never be used to store real student, parent or staff records. We may withdraw demo access at any time.
A school account is administered by the school. The school is responsible for creating users, assigning roles, keeping credentials confidential, removing access when staff leave and for everything done under its account. Tell us promptly at hello@xyoro.net if you believe an account has been compromised.
You must not use Xyoro to break the law, upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or account, probe or load-test our infrastructure without written permission, scrape the service, resell it without our agreement, or upload content that is unlawful, defamatory or infringes another person's rights. You must not use the service to send unsolicited bulk messages.
The school owns the data it puts into Xyoro. We claim no ownership over it. We process it as the school's processor, on its instructions, to run the service — as described in our Privacy Policy. The school is responsible for having a lawful basis for the data it collects, for its accuracy, and for any consents or notices its own law requires, particularly regarding children.
Paid plans are billed as set out in your order or written agreement. Unless that agreement says otherwise, fees are payable in advance, are exclusive of taxes and are non-refundable for a period already begun. We may suspend access to an account whose fees remain unpaid after we have given written notice and a reasonable opportunity to pay.
Xyoro connects to services we do not control, including the WhatsApp Business Platform, SMS gateways, email providers, payment gateways and AI providers. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms, and their availability, pricing and policies can change. We are not responsible for a third party's acts, omissions or outages, though we will make reasonable efforts to restore or replace a broken integration.
Ask Myna generates text automatically. It can be incomplete, out of date or simply wrong, and it is not a substitute for a teacher's judgement or for professional, legal, medical or financial advice. Review AI output before acting on it or sharing it with students and parents. You remain responsible for anything published from your account.
The Xyoro platform, its software, design, documentation, name and logos belong to us and our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription. You may not copy, decompile, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from the platform except where the law expressly permits it.
We work to keep Xyoro available and secure, but we do not promise uninterrupted service unless a signed agreement states a specific service level. We may take the service down for maintenance, and will try to schedule planned work outside school hours and to give notice where practical.
We may suspend or end access where these terms are breached, where an account puts the platform or other users at risk, or where required by law — with notice where circumstances allow. A school may end its subscription as set out in its agreement. On termination we will make the school's data available for export and then delete it as described in our Privacy Policy.
Except as expressly stated in a signed agreement, the service is provided "as is" and we exclude all implied warranties to the fullest extent the law allows, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that defects will be corrected.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or data. Our total liability arising from the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in that period. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your unlawful use of the service, or a claim that data you uploaded infringes a third party's rights or was collected without a lawful basis.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bangalore, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you and we submit to that jurisdiction. Before starting proceedings, please contact us at hello@xyoro.net so we can try to resolve the matter directly.
We may update these terms as the service and the law change. The date at the top shows when they last changed. For a material change affecting a paying school we will give reasonable notice. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
